4.9k. Posted February 10, 2021. I do not see how removing the shower would affect the caravan insurance provided you did nothing that might cause a problem. Possibly if you removed the shower at the back and put a heavy wardrobe in causing the caravan to be unstable this might be a problem though.. Fingers crossed. First step is to flick the Swift symbol out of the middle of the tap and remove the screw with an Allen key. Remove the handle, then unscrew the chrome bezel. This reveals the black plastic locking nut. Now the problems begin, its tight and difficult to get a grip of.

yeah the plastic hexagon is what you see after you take off the tap, thats it. Can't seem to unscrew it without twisting the whole casing. weird eh. Awight basically, under the tap there should be a long thread with a bolt on it. You have to unscrew the bolt, or so I'm told. You'd need a very small adjustable spanner and a whole lot of patience.. Here's a quick how-to: Pry away the index cap at the front of the handle to access the handle screw. Remove the screw and pull. Use a handle puller if it's stuck. You can buy a puller at your local hardware store for between $9 and $15. Use pliers or a deep-socket wrench to gently turn the stem counterclockwise.
